Introducing Transitions® Optical’s Vantage™ Lens

Transitions® Optical, manufacturers of variable tint lenses, have announced a new addition to their extensive range- the Transitions® Vantage lens. They've increased the features of their impressive light adapting lens with the addition of revolutionary variable polarization.

Sunlight that bounces off surfaces like water or glass can result in vision discomfort. The way reflections are filtered, to allow you to see with clarity, is referred to as polarization.

The new and impressive lens is the very first photochromic lens with polarization that increases as the lens darkens in sunlight. This is called variable polarization.

As your lenses get darker as the light gets brighter, your vision becomes sharper and brighter while at the same time, glare is significantly reduced, regardless of the lighting conditions.

This lens is made for everyday wear, and can be used for an extensive variety of activities, from reading or writing and using a computer, to gardening and driving. The lens is completely clear indoors and becomes an amazingly effective tinted lens when you go outside.

When looking for a pair of glasses that can be used full time, indoors and outdoors, talk to your eye care specialist about Transitions® Vantage lenses and how they can improve your quality of vision.

Dear Valued Patient,

At Family Eye Care, the health and safety of our patients and employees is our top concern.

Our office has a long-standing practice of disinfecting all areas of our office throughout the day, and all clinic areas are disinfected prior to every patient seen.

As always during the peak of flu season, and with the growing concerns around the Coronavirus, we have taken extra measures to increase frequent cleaning and have provided additional training and precautions to our staff to help keep their health and yours safe.

As a reminder, if you have fallen ill, have traveled abroad, or had close contact with someone who has traveled abroad within the past 14 days and are due to be seen for an appointment, please let our office know. We will be happy to change your appointment to ensure the safety of our patients and staff.

Feel free to contact us with any questions. Thank you.
