Is this the Same as Extended Wear?

Absolutely NOT! Ortho-K and Extended Wear are two very different things.

Ortho-K lenses are worn ONLY at night and NOT worn during the day.
Extended Wear is a term that is usually used with soft contact lenses that are worn continuously, during the day and at night while sleeping, for long periods of time; at times for a week or even 30 days.

We do not advocate wearing lenses on an extended wear basis. Wearing lenses without removing them for even a few days does not allow enough oxygen to reach the cornea.
